In recent years, we have successfully completed a number of fast-track projects, which have enabled clients to minimise disruption of their production. Our experienced project teams also have a proven track record in providing a service for new installations or process equipment and ancillary services.

Planning for Efficiency

Careful planning and preparation are vital if relocation work is to be carried out quickly, efficiently and in line with the client’s objectives.

This process begins with detailed site surveys followed by agreement on initial plant layouts so that pre-manufacture or modification work and capital expenditure are kept to a minimum. Access and installation routes are then determined and any potential problems highlighted. New plant can also be specified and integrated into the layouts, if necessary.

The entire planning process is managed by Jex Engineering and can include a full electrical package. We will organise all aspects of the relocation and installation, from transport and craneage to scaffolding and factory access, to ensure that the project schedule is achieved.

Smooth Operation

Jex Engineering recognises that “minimum disturbance” to the client’s factory is of paramount importance and that production must continue, where possible.

With this in mind, a skilled team, containing a core of Mechanical Fitters led by specialist managers, carries out the removal and installation, taking care to minimise disturbance and risk to the client’s business.
